Tiana's Bayou Adventure - Disneyland

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, Critter County, and Hungry Bear Restaurant Update | July 7, 2024

July 7, 2024, was the final day that guests could walk around the front of the soon to be Tiana’s Bayou Adventure and through the walkway in front of Hungry Bear Restaurant that leads to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. The area closed on Monday morning temporarily. However, on Sunday, guests could still walk in this area and eat at Hungry Bear Restaurant. This also was the last day for some time to get views of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure from the ground in front of it.

Since it was the last day for some of these views, several members of the Daps Magic team (Mr. Daps, Angela, and Steven) stopped by to document the progress being made on this new attraction and what the area looked like before it closed. This is one moment in time where this area looks the way it does. When it reopens, presumably things will have changed one way or another. This is the way of the world and the way of Disney. It also makes it fun to capture these moments in times to look back on them in the future. Below is a look at what the area that was closed on Monday looked like on Sunday. It shows the progress that is rapidly being made on the Tiana’s Bayou Adventure and Critter Country. It also shows the Hungry Bear Restaurant as it looks on the 7th of July. There is both video and photos that the team took. We hope you enjoy!

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is expected to open at Disneyland sometime later this year. The attraction has opened at the Magic Kingdom in Florida already. The soundtrack for the attraction has already been released as well for those who want to hear what is coming. When the attraction opens, guests will get to go on a musical adventure through the bayou with Disney friends new and old. This will happen as the story that was started in The Princess and the Frog continues a year later.

What do you think of the progress being made on the attraction? Are you excited about what is being done in Critter Country? What are you most looking forward to with these changes? Share your thoughts and opinions in the comments below!
