On this day in 2017, the Disney Channel Original Movie ‘Descendants 2’ was released on Disney-owned networks. It was a sequel to 2015’s ‘Descendants’ and featured the return of Mal, Evie, Carlos, and Jay – the Villain Kids (or VKs) of Maleficent, the Evil Queen, Cruella De Vil, and Jafar. Mal is overwhelmed by the pressure to be perfect and returns to her wicked roots on the Isle of the Lost. There, Uma, daughter of Ursula, is stirring up trouble with her pirate crew.
