On this day in 1964, actor, stand-up comedian, producer, and screenwriter David Spade was born. Disney fans know him for voicing the self-obsessed emperor-turned-llama Kuzco in ‘The Emperor’s New Groove’ and in the sequel, ‘Kronk’s New Groove.’ Spade may be best known for his razor-sharp sarcasm in six seasons on ‘Saturday Night Live’ and for quirky comedies like ‘Tommy Boy,’ ‘Joe Dirt,’ and ‘The Benchwarmers.’ [60 years ago in 2024]
