The Disney Destiny will begin to take guests on nautical adventure in late 2025. When it does, some favorite Disney heroes and villains will be the inspiration behind the experiences that are had aboard this new Disney Cruise Line ship. When it begins, the ship will be cruising out of Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. When boarding the ship, guests will find spaces and experiences that are inspired by the Disney’s most legendary schemers, scoundrels and specters, along with a “fearsome crew of Disney villains.” This promises to create a memorable sea-going experience.
When guests get to go on a cruise aboard the Disney Destiny, they will discover how much this ship has embraced the dynamic duality of every great Disney story. This is where the opposing forces of light and dark are what drive character to rise to their destinies. As guests explore the decks of the halls, they will find a wide range of venues and entertainment that are inspired by Disney, Pixar, and Marvel characters. This will include brand-new lounges that celebrate Cruella de Vil and the Pirates of the Caribbean.

We want our guests to have fun with the unique theme of this ship, and we are having a blast creating spaces and entertainment experiences that pay tribute to the villains, anti-heroes and mischief makers who have captivated Disney film and theme park audiences for generations.”
De Vil’s Piano Lounge
For fans that love Cruella De Vil and a good piano lounge, De Vil’s piano lounge is the place to visit! This promises to be a lounge that is everything one would expect for being named after the Cruella de Vil from Walt Disney Animation Studios’ One Hundred And One Dalmatians and also the 2021 live action film of the same name. The bar will be a lavish affair with of course incredible entertainment.
Throughout the adult-exclusive lounge, Cruella’s infamous flair for style and wickedly bold attitude will be found in the Hollywood Regency-inspired aesthetic. The lounge will utilize Cruella’s favorite colors: red, white, and black. There will also be a spotted piano playing sultry tunes throughout the night. As it does, guests will get to enjoy trendy martinis, chic cocktails, and glamours wines and bubblies.
De Vil’s will have one side that is open to the Grand Hall. This will allow guests to enjoy their chic drink while also enjoying a lovely view of the ship’s central gathering space. Because of its location, guests will be able to enjoy the energy and vibe inspired by Cruella’s legacy or focus instead on the entertainment of the Grand Hall. The Disney Cruise Line says that this will be a one-of-a-kind lounge that will sure to be anything but “miserable, darling.”
Cask and Cannon
The Cask and Cannon is a Pirates of the Caribbean pub that will be found aboard the Disney Destiny. This is a destination where guests can enjoy an evening of revelry, recreation, and obviously some rum! This pub is inspired by the iconic and memorable character and scenes from one of the most beloved attractions in Disney Parks around the world. This will be a pub that is both eclectic and also cozy. It is a watering hole that is furnished with treasures that have been “acquired” (or pillaged and pilfered) during the pirates’ numerous voyages around the globe.
As visiting buccaneers enjoy the pub, they can regale one another with tales of their own high seas’ adventures. They will also have the opportunity to cheer for their favorite teams during live televised sporting events. While they do this, there will be an extensive menu or rare, specialty and vintage rums along with a selection of “bootlegged” brews developed for the pub to enjoy. They will even be served straight from the barrel, in true pirate style!
AquaMouse
The AquaMouse will also be found aboard the Disney Destiny. This time there will be a quirky new storyline for the 760-foot-long water ride that towers over the upper decks of the ship. This will feature an original soundtrack that was written exclusively for Disney Cruise Line by Emmy award-winning composer Christopher Willis and lyricist Elyse Willis. This new show will show off the signature silliness of Mickey Mouse animated shorts.
Sing a Silly Song will have Mickey and Minnie lead guests on a “seemingly ominous trek to the peak of Villain Mountain. When faced with some of the most fearsome villains of Disney Animation lore, the duo will employ a silly song — and a bit of pixie dust — to transform each chilling encounter into a wacky surprise.” During this hilarious and wet adventure, guests will splash along with Queen of Hearts from Alice in Wonderland, Scar from The Lion King and Chernabog from Fantasia, along with some others who all find themselves in some “unconventionally hilarious situations.”
On of four shows available on the AquaMouse aboard the Disney Destiny, Sing a Silly Song will have music, lighting, special effects, and other splashtacular surprises.
Character Interactions
There will be plenty of character interactions to be enjoyed with both heroes and villains from across the Disney universe. This will including formidable foes like Maleficent, Hades, Cruella de Vil, Captain Hook, Mr. Smee, and also Oogie Boogie to name a few! There will be a variety of shows, meet-and-greets and special appearances found throughout the ship. They will include some of Disney’s most “mischievous and misunderstood personalities,” including Captain Jack Sparrow, Bruno, and Loki!
There will also be some exclusive ways for guests to interact with their favorite villains, rogues, and mischief makers aboard the Disney Destiny. This will be during all-new events and activities. These will compliment the popular range of programs that are already enjoyed on other ships in the Disney Cruise Line fleet. This includes a dance party in Oogie Boogie’s shipboard lair along with an interactive Disney trivia event that purportedly gets interrupted by a cast of Disney villains!
Haunted Mansion Parlor
After debuting aboard the Disney Treasure, the Haunted Mansion Parlor will be materializing aboard the Disney Destiny as well. This is a Haunted Mansion-themed lounge where foolish mortals will be able to enjoy sipping on spirits while surrounded by the 999 happy haunted of the Haunted Mansion. Yes, this is a bar themed on Disneyland’s iconic Haunted Mansion and the different versions it has spawned through the last 55 years! This will bring a nautical take to the Haunted Mansion-themed venue which is only appropriate aboard a Disney Cruise Line ship.
When guests visit the Haunted Mansion Parlor, they will find they are surrounded by the nostalgic art style of the original 1969 Disney Parks classic. It will blend humor and Disney’s magical approach to spooky storytelling. There will also be some legendary characters from haunted Mansion attractions around the world (some grim grinning ghosts perhaps?) that will come out to socialize. This will be done in some mysterious ways throughout a visit to the parlor. There will also be a few new seafaring arrivals as well. On top of all that, there will be a new original storyline that is focused on a ship captain!
What would the Haunted Mansion be without music? The same goes for the Haunted Mansion Parlor. This apce will have a custom musical arrangement that is inspired by the original score of the Haunted Mansion. It promises to set the stage for the ever-escalating anthology of illusions that guests will be immersed in when they experience the next chapter of Haunted Mansion lore at this location.
The Haunted Mansion Parlor will offer ghostly cocktails that are meant to capture the spirit of the story. There will also be exclusive haunted homewares and spooky souvenirs found in shopping venues aboard the ship that are inspired by this bar.
About the Ship
The Disney Destiny will be an incredible ship when it joins the Disney Cruise Line fleet. The ship will be approximately 144,000 gross tons and powered by liquefied natural gas. This has become the norm for the Disney Cruise Line as they work to mitigate their environmental impact and help protect the world we live in. The ship will be just one new ship in a multi-year expansion that is underway for the Disney Cruise Line fleet. This started with the Disney Wish, which launched in 2022. Later this year, the Disney Treasure will be joining the fleet as well. Next year, the Disney Adventure will be joining the fleet. It will have its homeport in Singapore. These ships will be joined by a new Wish-class ship that will be based in Japan and arrive in 2029. This comes from a new agreement between Disney and the Oriental Land Co. Ltd. The Disney Cruise Line also recently began welcoming adventurers to its new island destiny in The Bahamas called Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point.
The Disney Destiny will also have some incredible dining venues, including a dining experience inspired by The Lion King for guests to enjoy. There will also be two cafe’s that are inspired by Disney and Pixar heroines, incredible accommodations, and an Edna Mode themed sweet shop!
