Disney Jollywood Nights Returns to Disney’s Hollywood Studios With New Skating Spectacular

After debuting at Disney’s Hollywood Studios last year, Disney Jollywood Nights is making its return to the Walt Disney World Resort park this holiday season. The hard-ticketed event will be offered on select nights starting on November 9 through December 21, 2024. For each of these offerings, guests will get what promises to be five of the most jolly hours from 7:30 PM to 12:30 AM. After a night of merriment, guests will be given a Wondermade (included with event ticket) when exiting the event. Tickets for the event will also include Disney PhotoPass downloads.

Entertainment

This year, they will also get to experience a new skating spectacular on Hollywood Boulevard. Set to some favorite tunes, this will be offered several times a night. It will also feature the talents of international champion skaters in what is said to be an “awe-inspiring twist on the traditional ice show.” Performances are currently scheduled for performances at 8:15 PM, 9:15 PM, 10:20 PM, 11:15 PM and 12:15 AM.

There will be plenty of other entertainment offerings as well. This includes:

  • What’s This? Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas Sing-Along – 7:30 PM, 8:30 PM, 9:30 PM, 11:30 PM and 12:30 AM.
    • American Sign Language Interpretation
      • American Sign Language interpretation will be offered at select shows on the following dates:
        • Wednesday, November 13, 2024
        • Wednesday, December 11, 2024
  • Disney Holidays in Hollywood – 8:15 PM, 9:15 PM, 11:15 PM and 12:15 AM
    • American Sign Language Interpretation
      • American Sign Language interpretation will be offered at select shows on the following dates:
        • Wednesday, November 13, 2024
        • Wednesday, December 11, 2024
  • Jazzy Holidays at The Hollywood Brown Derby (reservations suggested) –
  • Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!  – 10:00 PM

Throughout Disney’s Hollywood Studios, there will also be themed entertainment to once again enjoy. This year, the Holiday Fiesta en la Calle will be moving to Animation Courtyard. Dance the night away with this lively holiday street fair from 7:30 PM to 12:30 AM. There will also be the Twilight Soirée at the Tip Top Club in the courtyard of The Hollywood Tower Hotel. Sets begin at 7:30 PM, 8:10 PM, 8:50 PM, 9:30 PM, 10:30 PM, 11:10 PM and 11:50 PM.

Disney Characters

There will also be plenty of characters on hand to visit with throughout the event, including some new ones. The new Disney characters at the event will include:

  • Baloo and King Louie from Talespin – appearing at Echo Lake
  • José Carioca or Panchito from The Three Caballeros – appearing at Animation Courtyard
  • Bo Peep or Lotso from the Toy Story movies – appearing at the entrance to Toy Story Land

Returning characters will include:

  • Phineas and Ferb – appearing at Echo Lake
  • Max Goof as Powerline – appearing at Echo Lake
  • Rescue Rangers Chip ‘n’ Dale – appearing at Echo Lake
  • Santa Stitch – appearing at Celebrity Spotlight at Echo Lake
  • Santa Duffy – appearing at Santa’s Workshop at Grand Avenue
  • Edna Mode and Frozone from The Incredibles – appearing at Pixar Plaza
  • Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and Daisy Duck – appearing on Hollywood Boulevard near Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway
  • Goofy and Pluto – appearing by Pixar Plaza
  • Minnie Mouse – appearing at Red Carpet Dreams on Commissary Lane

There also could be more, according to the Walt Disney World Resort website.

Merchandise

Disney Jollywood Nights also has some new merchandise that will be available. This is themed to Ollie, the most dapper gingerbread man in Hollywood. The collection will include Minnie Mouse ear headband and festive apparel.

  • November 9, 13, 16, 18, 23, 25 and 30
  • December 2, 7, 11, 14, 18 and 21

Tickets

Ticket prices range from $159 to $179 per ticket, plus tax (prices vary by event date). Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members can save $10 per ticket to Disney Jollywood Nights, valid for all event nights. Tickets will be going on sale on sale for the general public on July 10, 2024. Guests staying at select Walt Disney World Resort hotels will have the opportunity purchase tickets early, starting on July 2, 2024. These hotels are included in this opportunity:

  • Disney Resorts Collection hotels
  • Walt Disney World Swan Hotel
  • Walt Disney World Swan Reserve
  • Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel
  • Shades of Green at Walt Disney World Resort

Other Details

There will also be multiple photo opportunities where guests can get their pictures taken during this event. Guests will be able to enter the park ahead of the event as early at 6:00 PM. Guests are encouraged to dress their best and if last year is any indication, they will! Themed snacks will be available throughout the park, including the return of the popular Gertie cookie.
