Disney100: The Exhibition in Kansas City will soon be welcoming guests to the Union Station to explore the history and legacy of The Walt Disney Company. To kick off the opening of this exhibit and its arrival in Kansas City, D23 is hosting a premiere event on May 24, 2024. The event will include early access to the exhibit, a presentation by director of The Walt Disney Archives Becky Cline, a presentation from the Walt Disney Hometown Museum about Walt Disney’s childhood years in Marceline, Missouri, and more! There will also be a commemorative coin given to those in attendance.

Presented by the Walt Disney Archives and Semmel Exhibitions, Disney100: The Exhibition invites guests to step into 10 magnificent and imaginatively themed galleries, where moving stories, unique interactive installations, and behind-the-scenes glimpses provide a journey through 100 years of The Walt Disney Company.
D23 Members are invited to be among the first to see this immersive exhibition on its next stop in Kansas City, Missouri, with a special celebration created for the ultimate Disney fans!

Over the past century, Disney has brought its iconic stories and characters to life in new and innovative ways, becoming part of the global culture and creating generations of memories for billions of fans.
As part of this D23-exclusive preview, D23 Members with tickets to this event will be able to take advantage of special private access to Disney100: The Exhibition, with timed entry on opening day. Additionally, D23 Members can enjoy a hosted reception, along with special presentations and screenings of classic Disney animated shorts, and invited to “walk in Walt’s footsteps,” in Kansas City’s Union Station, reliving key moments in Disney history.
This event includes:
- Private Viewing of Disney100: The Exhibition, timed entry on opening day

About Disney100: The Exhibition: The Walt Disney Archives has curated special behind-the-scenes glimpses into the creation of the most popular characters, films, shows, and attractions—from Disneyland to Walt Disney World and beyond. The 10 magnificent and imaginatively themed galleries, with moving stories, unique interactive installations, and exciting background information, will take visitors on a journey through 100 years of The Walt Disney Company, celebrating the classics, as well as the latest members of the Disney family.
This 15,000-square-foot experience showcases hundreds of extraordinary objects, including many of Disney’s “Crown Jewels”— more than 250 rarely-seen artifacts, works of art, costumes, props, and memorabilia.

- D23 Members may reserve a ticket for themselves and up to three (3) guests.
- Each attendee must have a ticket in their possession for entry.
- There are a limited number of tickets available. D23 Members must log in by using their D23 Member account information when reserving tickets.
- All guests under age 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian to attend this D23 event and will require an event ticket for admission.
- D23 Members who do not bring their membership card and tickets may not be admitted to the event. Membership card may be a physical card or a digital membership card found in the D23 App.
- Guests who are age 21+ are required to present valid government issued photo IDs to consume alcoholic beverages.
- Ticketed Members and guests who do not attend the event forfeit their place, as well as all experiences, benefits, and gifts associated with the event. D23 Members must be present or guests will not gain admittance to the event.
All D23 events are subject to change without notice. All ticket sales are final. There are strictly no cancellations or refunds regardless of reason (including, without limitation, due to illness, change in travel plans, etc.) and tickets are not transferable.
