A new experience that is coming to Walt Disney World Resort is beginning to show up in the Magic Kingdom. The Smellephants on Parade presented by Scentsy is beginning to be installed in Storybook Circus. When complete, guests will have the opportunity to go on a brand-new, interactive search-and-sniff experience.
Along with these elephants being installed in Storybook Circus, Disney has also shared how this new experience will work. When guests enter Storybook Circus, they will find a casting call that is posted by Timothy Q. Mouse. This casting call seeks out a “Whiff-sistant” to join Dumbo’s newest act. At the ticket booth in front of Big Top Souvenirs, a cast member will hand out an illustrated map of the land along with a sticker sheet to guide them in their first task as a Whiff-sistant.
The goal is to find all eight Smellephant statues scattered throughout Storybook Circus. The stickers and map can be used to track the progress being made on the quest.
The first of the Smellephants on Parade has arrived at Storybook Circus. It also is sporting a look that is inspired by circus popcorn! There will be additional circus-themed Smellephants coming to the area in the near future that will feature other fragrances from Scentsy including Churro, Cotton Candy, and more!
This experience is both complimentary and voluntary. It will be available to guests of all ages visiting Magic Kingdom next month. Disney shared that while the Smellephants will be found throughout Storybook Circus, those who are sensitive to smell should still be able to visit and enjoy the land.
