Check Out What is Coming to Hulu in May 2024

Hulu regularly adds new programming to its library. There are plenty of different genres for subscribers to enjoy. This library now can be accessed on Disney+ for those who subscribe to both Disney+ and Hulu. As May gets closer, Hulu is sharing some of the programming that will be arriving on the streaming service that fans will enjoy. This includes Welcome to Wrexham, Billy & Molly: An Otter Love Story: Special Premiere, and much more. Below is a look at what will be arriving on Hulu in 2024. What are you most looking forward to? May 1 
Shardlake: Complete Season 1 (Hulu Original) Drenched in mystery, suspense and deception, this four-part drama, based on the first novel in C.J. Sansom’s internationally popular Tudor murder mystery series, is an eerie whodunnit adventure, set in 16th century England during the dissolution of the monasteries. Shardlake’s sheltered life as a lawyer is turned upside down when Cromwell instructs him to investigate the murder of one of his commissioners at a monastery in the remote town of Scarnsea. The commissioner was gathering evidence to close the monastery and it is now imperative for Cromwell’s own political survival that Shardlake both solves the murder and closes the monastery. He leaves Shardlake in no doubt that failure is not an option. Cromwell insists that he is accompanied by Jack Barak to Scarnsea, where the duo are met with hostility, suspicion and paranoia by the monks who fear for their future and will seemingly stop at nothing to preserve their order.

Jeopardy! Masters: Season 2 Premiere (ABC) “Jeopardy! Masters” returns for its second annual tournament and will showcase the six highest-ranked current “Jeopardy!” contestants playing two action-packed games per hourlong episode. Produced by Sony Pictures Television and hosted by the “GOAT” Ken Jennings, the high-stakes tournament will feature “Jeopardy! Masters” 2023 champion James Holzhauer, returning contestants Matt Amodio, Mattea Roach and Amy Schneider, and newcomers Yogesh Raut and Victoria Groce. Audiences will follow along as contestants go head-to-head for the ultimate grand prize of $500,000 and the title of “Jeopardy! Masters” Champion.

Prom Dates: Film Premiere (Hulu Original) “Prom Dates” follows best friends Jess and Hannah, who made a pact at 13 to have the perfect senior prom. Despite the impending changes that college will bring over the next four years, the two are committed to honoring their prom pact. But with only 24 hours left before the big event, everything falls apart when they break up with each of their dates. Jess and Hannah are left with one night to find new dates and live out their middle-school fantasies.

FX’s Welcome to Wrexham: Season 3 Premiere Rob McElhenney (“It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia”) and Ryan Reynolds (“Deadpool”) navigate running the 3rd oldest professional football club in the world. Welcome to Wrexham is a docuseries tracking the dreams and worries of Wrexham, a working-class city in North Wales, UK, as two Hollywood stars guide the future of their historic Club.

In 2020, Rob and Ryan teamed up to purchase the 5th tier Red Dragons in the hopes of turning the Club into an underdog story the whole world could root for. The world took notice and change is afoot. After fifteen painful seasons in the National League, the Club finally achieved promotion back into the English Football League. The stakes have never been higher as League Two brings a new level of intensity and the Club continues to be plagued with injury and setbacks. The Quiz with Balls: Series Premiere (Fox) Hosted by actor and comedian, Jay Pharoah, “The Quiz with Balls” is a game show that combines a high-stakes quiz show with a large-scale physical competition. Each episode features two families competing for $100,000 in a “battle of the balls.”. They must all work together as they face a multiple-choice quiz where each answer is allocated to a spot with a giant ball positioned up behind it. If the correct answer is chosen, the ball rolls down and stops just before colliding with the player… if the answer is wrong, the massive ball rapidly descends and mercilessly whacks them into the pool below.
