The Acolyte

Trailer Released for ‘The Acolyte’ Ahead of June Arrival on Disney+

A trailer was released today for the upcoming Star Wars series for Disney+, The Acolyte. This sets up what fans will be seeing when this series arrives on Disney+ on June 4, 2024. The premiere on that day will feature two episodes. The trailer shows an era of the Jedi where everything seems to be going well and the Jedi Order is in its prime. However, someone is killing Jedi. The trailer opens on a very familiar scene. It is one where younglings are being trained.  Lee Jung-jae’s Master Sol says, “Close your eyes. Your eyes can deceive you,” he tells them. “We must not trust them.” This seems to be a connection with the original Star Wars movie and Obi-Wan Kenobi’s training of Luke Skywalker. There are other scenes that will be less familiar but that still hearken back to what is known about the Jedi Order.

Below is the first trailer for The Acolyte. Check it out and then share what you think about it in the comments below!
