On this day in 2017, composer John Williams won a Grammy for the score of ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens.’ It would be Williams’s sixth Grammy related to ‘Star Wars.’ Three of the previous Grammys were for the score of ‘A New Hope,’ including one for the ‘Star Wars’ Main Title, and two were for ‘The Empire Strikes Back.’ He would later win Best Instrumental Composition for the “Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge Symphonic Suite.”
