This weekend, a host of celebrities came to Disneyland Paris to celebrate the grand reopening of Disneyland Hotel in a five-star event. Actors Nicola Coughlan, Virginie Efira, Lucas Bravo and designer Christian Louboutin were among the many celebrities who were given the opportunity to take part in a royal experience and historic ceremony.
From Friday, February 2 to Sunday, February 4, Disneyland® Paris celebrated the grand reopening of its iconic hotel in the presence of several international celebrities discovered all that Disneyland Hotel has to offer – including unprecedented hospitality, fine dining and uniquely Disney entertainment – while enjoying an immersive experience inspired by Disney’s royal stories.
After stepping into the breathtaking lobby of the hotel, actors Virginie Efira, Lucas Bravo, Mélanie Laurent, Ana Girardo, High-end fashion designer Julien Fournié, singer Eddy De Prettostruck royal poses alongside Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Princesses and Princes, Nicola Coughlan, Kevin Janssen posed with Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse, and some celebrities took part in the events.
All of the royal guests were then treated to an enchanted moment, as the majestic lobby turned into a magical ballroom to host the “Royal Ball”, specially created for the star-studded event. Before the clock struck midnight, Cinderella and Prince Charming, Snow White and her Prince and Belle and her Prince took to the floor and danced to a medley of Disney of songs. To top off the night, Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse also participated in a magical moment celebrating Disney royalty!
Natacha Rafalski, Présidente of Disneyland Paris, also took to the floor as part of this unforgettable weekend, saying “We have been hard at work these past years to reimagine what this iconic landmark could look and feel like. We rebuilt everything from the inside out, and today… we are so proud to share with you this unique experience, combining an unprecedented level of immersive storytelling and world-class hospitality, thanks to the dedication of our wonderful Cast Members and Imagineers.”
This fairytale-like ceremony ended in the most magical way, as the iconic façade of Disneyland Hotel came to life during a unique projection show designed exclusively for the occasion. Using her magic wand, Fairy Godmother brought the special guests on a journey to the heart of the most beautiful Disney royal stories through a montage of animated moments celebrating Disney Animation movies such as Aladdin, Cinderella, Moana and Frozen.
To further elevate the excellence of the Hotel, a third restaurant is scheduled to open through a collaboration with a French chef internationally renowned.
