Knott’s Berry Farm will not be opening its gates today as rain comes down on Orange County, California. A post on social media and also on the Knott’s Berry Farm website made the announcement. It says:
Due to inclement weather, KBF will not open today, Monday, January 22. Unused tickets dated for 1/22/24 can be used any other operating day through 2/25/24. Not valid for special ticketed events. Select California Marketplace locations will remain open until 7pm.
Those who had tickets for today can use them instead on any operating day through February 25, 2024. Some of the locations at the California Marketplace will also be open still today until 7:00 PM.
The closure comes just days before Knott’s Berry Farm begins its Peanuts Celebration. This year’s Peanuts Celebration will include a tribute to Franklin, who also will be appearing in a new special on Apple TV+. The Knott’s Peanuts Celebration will run from January 27 to February 25. There will be plenty of things to experience during this time. This includes:
- Limited-Time-Exhibit About Franklin at Calico’s Town Hall
- It’s Your Life, Charlie Brown
- Snoopy’s Legendary Rooftop Concert
- PEANUTS Sketch School
- PEANUTS Cowboy Jamboree
- Pigpen’s Pig Pen
There will also be characters to meet, food to enjoy, merchandise, and more!
