Parkside Market

Disneyland Resort Provides More Downtown Disney District Updates on Parkside Market, Earl of Sandwich, and More!

The Disneyland Resort revealed updates about the future of Parkside Market, Earl of Sandwich, and more for the ongoing transformation of the Downtown Disney District. Below is a look at some of the new and returning locations that are coming to the Downtown Disney District!

Parkside Market

First off, Parkside Market will be a two-story location that will have four diverse culinary concepts that are from Levy Restaurants. They will all be under one roof. Parkside Market will include Seoul Sister, a fast-casual modern eatery that will serve a Korean-forward menu based on bibimbap (Korean rice bowls); Sip & Sonder serving lattes, fresh treats, frozen drinks and Caribbean-inspired bites; GG’s Chicken Shop with chicken sandwiches, salads, and classic dinner table sides; and a second story bar with great views of the district to sip signature craft cocktails and mocktails paired with tantalizing appetizers.

Earl of Sandwich

Earl of Sandwich will be relocating to a new permanent two-story location in Downtown Disney District. In the short term, the popular sandwich shop will be moving to a temporary location on the west-end of Downtown Disney District near Star Wars Trading Post. There, guests will be able to get some favorite sandwiches like The Original 1762, The Full Montagu, or the Holiday Turkey. There will also be hand-crafted wraps, salads, and sweets on hand as well.

It’s permanent two-story location in Downtown Disney District will include a quick-service Earl of Sandwich shop on the ground level and a table-service gastropub upstairs. Disney promises more details about what this location will be like in the future. Currently Earl of Sandwich is at a temporary location at the east end of the Downtown Disney District. It will move to make way for an all-new Porto’s Bakery. This will include a new building for this location as well.

Paseo and Céntrico, and Now Tiendita!

Disney also provided a sneak peek at what will be arriving in the center of the district later this spring, Paseo and Céntrico. It also announced Tiendita! This will offer menus created by Michelin-starred Chef Carlos Gaytán. Paseo’s upstairs dining room and the first floor Céntrico courtyard bar and restaurant will offer upscale Mexican cuisine and tequila-based cocktails, while next door, Tiendita will offer Chef Gaytán’s Mexican heritage flavors on-the-go, with quick-service Mexican street-food staples.

Along with these new dining locations, there is also plenty of entertainment to be enjoyed at the Downtown Disney LIVE! stage and lawn. This new entertainment venue has quite the variety of music that includes Motown, rock, jazz, pop and reggae. There are also plenty of other shopping, dining, and other exciting venues to enjoy at Downtown Disney District. With more coming, Downtown Disney District is exciting as ever and will only get better!

  2. It would appear that DTD is moving upscale. If you offered cheaper alternatives, you’d probably discover that customers stayed longer, especially those staying at the resort
