D23 Expo to Expand To Become the D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event

For many Disney fans, attending the D23 Expo is a highlight that is looked forward two every couple of years. Next year, this event is getting even bigger! D23 Expo is expanding and turning into a new weeklong event in 2024. The D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event will also expand beyond the Anaheim Convention Center. It will also include a D23 Takeover of the Happiest Place On Earth, evening entertainment at the Honda Center, and even a D23 Day at Angel Stadium. The event will be taking place throughout the week of August 4 through August 11, 2024.

This new and expanded Disney fan event will also include some of the favorites from previous D23 Expos. This will include the exhibits, panels, shows, and shopping that will be offered for Disney fans at the Anaheim Convention Center.

Highlights of the D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event will include:

  • Sunday, August 4: D23 Day at Angel Stadium, where D23 fans are invited to attend the Los Angeles Angels vs. New York Mets game. 
  • Thursday, August 8: D23 kickoff celebration at Disneyland Resort.
  • Friday, August 9 – Sunday, August 11: Shopping, exhibits, panels, and presentations will take place at the Anaheim Convention Center during the day, with the fun extending into the evening at the Honda Center, the bigger home to marquee shows.

Those looking to purchase tickets for D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event will be able to purchase tickets in the spring of 2024. Ticket options for access to the Anaheim Convention Center and the Honda Center will be announced at a later date. For those wanting to attend D23 Day at Angel Stadium or the D23 kickoff celebration at Disneyland Resort, tickets will be offered separately for those events. More details about the D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event will be announced in early 2024.
