Walt Disney World Resort is raising its rates for participants in the Disney College Program. It announced that participants in the program will be seeing themselves get a raise of $2 per hour with new hires starting at $16 per hour. This will apply to current and future participants in the program. It will go into effect starting on June 4, 2023.
The new rate will see that Disney College Program cast members go up from $14 per hour to $16 per hour. The announcement of the raise comes shortly after Disney reached a new deal with its unions that saw them getting a raise as well.
Currently the Disney College Program is recruiting for participants of the program that will arrive between May 2023 and October 2023. These students will be staying at least through January 2024.
