The Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend is returning to the Happiest Place on Earth in January 2024. Today it was announced that this runDisney event will be back at the Disneyland Resort January 11-14, 2024. Registration for the weekend will begin on February 14, 2023.
The return of the Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend marks the return of runDisney races to the west coast once again. Over the course of the weekend in January, there will be a 5K, 10K, half marathon, and challenge (10K and half marathon). This promises to be a weekend that is filled with “memorable moments and magical miles” as guests run at the Disneyland Resort. More details are promised to come soon, including what the course will be, the medals, and more.
The Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend will also allow runDisney to reintroduce the runDisney Coast to Coast Race Challenge in 2024! More information is promised about the Challenge, including how to qualify. It will be found on runDisney.com later this month.
Along with announcing the return of the Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend, runDisney also announced the calendar of events for the 2023-2024 runDisney race season. This includes both the event dates and registration dates. The season begins in November 2023 at the Walt Disney World Resort and includes five race weekends there and one race weekend at Disneyland Resort.
