The dates for the 2023 EPCOT International Festival of the Arts have been announced by Walt Disney World Resort. The festival will be returning to EPCOT on January 13th and run through February 20, 2023. According to a post from Disney, the festival is a “global celebration of visual, culinary, and performing arts where guests can find inspiration and discover their own creativity in fun ways across the park.”
The EPCOT International Festival of the Arts has incredible artwork of all kinds. There is something for every kind of art lover during this festival. For those that like the culinary arts, there will be 16 Food Studios that will be serving some delicious and beautiful foods! These are some of the most delicious foods offered at any of EPCOT’s festivals and they are definitely some of the most visually appealing! This year, there will be two new Food Studios offered as well.
- Moderne – this is located by Test Track and will feature new mouthwatering avant-garde menu items.
- Figment’s Inspiration Station at the Odyssey: Art, Food, and Little Sparks of Magic – This will be delivering both treats and beverages that are bursting with vibrant colors and flavors. More details about this Food Studio will be released in early 2023.
Throughout the course of the festival, there will be over 100 Disney and visiting artists showing off their beautiful works of art. Guests will also be able to discover and express their creative side when they learn how to draw a Disney character at the Animation Academy. They can also help create art on a bigger scale at Expression Section: A Paint by Number Mural. There will also be a scavenger hunt around World Showcase where guests will be able to help Figment learn about art.
In the evening, the popular DISNEY ON BROADWAY Concert Series will be again returning and featuring talented entertainers who perform Disney songs live at the America Gardens Theatre. The list of these entertainers will soon be announced.
