Disney+ Day Kicks Off With Surprise Release of ‘BTS PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE’ – LA on Disney+

To start off the celebration of Disney+ Day, a concert film of BTS PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE – LA was released on Disney’s streaming service. A trailer for the film was released with its arrival as well.

“BTS: PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE – LA” showcases the live performances of the BTS concerts held at the Los Angeles SoFi Stadium in late 2021 (Nov 27-28 & December 1-2). The concert film is stage-focused and includes performances of the GRAMMY®-nominated, music group’s hit songs “Dynamite,” “Butter” and “Permission to Dance.” BTS, an acronym of Bangtan Sonyeondan or “Beyond the Scene,” are a South Korean boy band that have been capturing the hearts of millions of fans globally since their debut in June 2013.

BTS features RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook. The film is produced by HYBE, a Den of Thieves production, in association with Borderless Films.

Disney+ Day has a wide range of content being released for Disney+ Day. This includes global premieres for titles from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic, The Simpsons, and more. Releases today include Marvel Studios’ Thor: Love and Thunder, Pinocchio a new episode of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, Cars on the Road, Obi-Wan Kenobi: A Jedi’s Return, Remembering, Growing Up, Epic Adventures with Bertie Gregory, Dancing with the Stars: The Pros’ Most Memorable Dances, Tierra Incógnita, Marvel Studios Assembled: The Making of Thor: Love and Thunder, the Frozen and Frozen 2 Sing-Alongs, and Welcome to the Club, and a new short from The Simpsons.

Disney+ Day arrives just one day ahead of D23 Expo 2022. D23 Expo will be running from September 9 through September 11th in Anaheim, CA. Disney+ will stream recaps of the previous day’s biggest announcements, show moments, and other exciting content. This will be hosted by Jordan Fisher and Ashley Eckstein. These will be released on September 10 and September 11th and 8 AM PT. There will also be select new trailers that were released on D23 Expo available on Disney+ throughout the weekend.
