Disney+ Gives First Look at ‘The Santa Clauses’ as Part of Halfway to the Holidays Celebration

As Disney celebrated Halfway to the Holidays, it gave the first look at the upcoming Disney+ Original Series The Santa Clauses. This also included the announcement of the name of the series. It was also confirmed that Tim Allen and Elizabeth Mitchell will be returning to their roles as Santa Claus (Scott Calvin) and Mrs. Claus (Carol). They will be joined by new cast members Austin Kane and Elizabeth Allen Dick (Tim Allen’s real-life daughter) who will portray Cal and Sandra, the two children of Santa and Mrs. Claus.

Along with the Calvin family, Kal Penn will be joining the cast as well. He plays a single father Simon Choski. He is an ambitious game inventor and product developer who visits the North Pole and finds the direction of his life changed. Rupali Redd plays his daughter Grace who has a love for Santa and all things Christmas.

Santa’s elves will also be on hand. Devin Bright joins the cast as Noel, Santa’s trusted right-hand elf, Matilda Lawler will also be Betty, Santa’s demanding Chief of Staff and job-oriented Elf.

The Santa Clauses happens sometime after the events of The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause. In the series, Scott Calvin is nearing his 65th birthday. He realizes that he can’t be Santa forever as he discovers he is beginning to lose his Santa magic. So he sets off to find his replacement as Santa while he also prepares his family for a new life and adventure south of the North Pole.
