Disney KiteTales, the surprise hit for Disney’s Animal Disney and Walt Disney World Resort’s 50th Anniversary celebration is ending its first fun in its original form. The Walt Disney World website has its final scheduled show on May 26th. The show will be adapted and returned after. The new form, which has been announced by Disney, will be shorter and be offered more frequently throughout the day.
The show has two variations that are currently being offered. One brings The Lion King to life in the sky above Disney’s Animal Kingdom. The other focuses on The Jungle Book. The new version of Disney Kite Tails will change the perspective of the show to be more viewable from anywhere around the Discovery River Lagoon, versus the main viewing area that currently is utilized.
What do you think about the current version of Disney KiteTails coming to an end? Are you excited about the new one? Do you think Disney should be changing it? Share your thoughts and opinions in the comments below!

I’m sitting here, a long time annual passholder, and I’m very disappointed. The original Kite Tails show was much more dynamic and Disney at its best – kites, puppeteers, music, and variety
This new Show is just “let’s drag some kites in the air for 3/4 minutes and hope the public doesn’t notice what a bad redo looks like
Come on Disney – fix what the real problems w the kites were and get the old show back
CREATE SOME MAGIC!!!!
