Today, Disney+ released photos from an Emmy FYC event in West Hollywood featuring Marvel Studios’ “Loki” star Tom Hiddleston, director Kate Herron, writer Michael Waldron and composer Natalie Holt. The event included a screening of Episode 1 of the acclaimed series as well as a Q&A moderated by Anthony Breznican, senior Hollywood correspondent for Vanity Fair. The six-episode Season 1 of “Loki,” which began streaming exclusively on Disney+ June 9, 2021, is the most watched Marvel Studios series on Disney+, as recently announced by Kevin Feige, President of Marvel Studios.
The first season of Marvel Studios’ “Loki” featured the God of Mischief as he stepped out of his brother’s shadow after the events of “Avengers: Endgame.” Tom Hiddleston returned as the title character, joined by Owen Wilson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sophia Di Martino, Wunmi Mosaku and Richard E. Grant. Kate Herron directed “Loki,” and Michael Waldron was the head writer.
“Loki” Season 2 begins shooting this summer.
