Spider-Man: No Way Home may still be in theaters but its next stop will be a streaming location. It just may not be the streaming location most people thought it would be. It wont’ be Netflix, it won’t be Disney+. Instead, it will be Starz.
An exact time for the most recent Spidey film’s arrival on the streaming service is unknown. All that is known is that it will be “sometime over the next six months.” This is according to Starz CEO Jeffrey Hirsch in an interview with Deadline.
The news was confirmed as Hirsch talked about the strategy of utilizing both movies and original programming to drive new subscribers to the streaming service. “You put the right shows and content around it so you can move customers that watch Spider-Man into one of your originals,” Hirsch said.
While it is known that future Spider-Man films will head to Netflix and then Disney+, it isn’t known when this Spider-Man film will arrive on either of the streaming platforms. What is known is that its first stop will be on Starz.
