New Trailer Released for Star Trek: Picard Season 2

A new trailer for the second season of Star Trek: Picard is now available ahead of the show’s arrival on Paramount+ on March 3. The trailer shows what Jean-Luc Picard and the crew of the La Sirena will be up against in this next adventure. This season will see the return of and old friend and also an old foe. If you don’t want any spoilers for this season, don’t watch this trailer!

Star Trek: Picard continues the story of Jean-Luc Picard two decades after the events of Star Trek: Nemesis. Picard has retired from Starfleet and now finds himself boldly going where he has never gone before in a way that he never has before.

So What Do You Think?

This trailer for Star Trek: Picard looks to me that this season will be digging deep into a lot of Star Trek history from across different experiences from different crews. There were moments that reminded me of the adventures of Captain Kirk and crew, particularly a nod to Star Trek: The Voyage Home. There also seems to be some nods to previous adventures of Captain Picard and crew, and potentially some other crews from that era. The premise seems familiar to me and it will be interesting how this story is different and unique from the others.
