When the Disney Wish takes guests to the seas next summer, it will also be debuting two new stage shows. The announcement was made this weekend at the Destination D23 event at Walt Disney World Resort.
The first new stage show will be Disney The Little Mermaid. This original Broadway-style stage show ill be a reimagining of the Walt Disney Animation Studios classic movie. it will give the story a modern and innovative approach to the story of a young woman learning the power of her voice. It will feature some dazzling special effects and utilize some new theatrical design, artistic choreography, and also a reimagined script and score. Disney promises that this will both “surprise and delight guests of all ages.”
The second stage show will be called Disney Seas the Adventure. This show will follow Goofy as he “discovers his inner captain.” He will do this with the help of Captain Minnie and a bunch of Disney and Pixar friends.
