More Agatha Harkness Coming as Kathryn Hahn Set to Reprise Role in Disney+ Series

Kathryn Hahn is set to return to Disney+ in the role of Agatha Harkness. A spinoff series from WandaVision is in the works for Disney’s streaming service Variety is reporting.

In the series, Hahn would again portray Agatha Harkness. While not a lot is known about the plot, it is said that the series would be a dark comedy. Apparently, WandaVision head writer Jac Schaeffer would serve as the writer and executive producer for the show. If it moves beyond the development stage, this will be the first project for Schaeffer with Marvel since signing an overall deal with Marvel and 20th Century in May.

Kathryn Hahn’s Agatha Harkness turned out to be one of the more popular characters in WandaVision. The role also won Hahn an Emmy. This was one of 23 Emmy’s the show received. When the show concluded, she had been defeated by Wanda and was stuck in Westview as Agnes, Wanda’s nosey next-door neighbor.

At this time Marvel has made no official announcements or statements about this project. DAPS MAGIC will continue to follow this story and provide updates as they become available. Hahn currently is working on several other projects as well so this series could be down the line a bit.
