Southwest Airlines is joining in the celebration of the 50th Anniversary of Walt Disney World Resort. To join in the celebration, Southwest Airlines unveiled a 737-700 that was decked out for the celebration. It included sparkling EARidescent Disney decorations.
Southwest Airlines is also celebrating its 50th anniversary. The plane was unveiled at an event at William P. Hobby Airport. Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse were on hand in their EARidescent outfits that they will be wearing throughout the 18-month anniversary celebration at Walt Disney World Resort.
The inaugural flight for this celebratory plane flew to Orlando International Airport. The airport also has been decorated for the celebration.
