Disney has announced that Avengers Campus will be officially opening at the Disneyland Resort on June 4, 2021. This new, fully immersive land has been growing under the Guardians of the Galaxy – MISSION: BREAKOUT! tower and soon guests will be able to see their dreams of becoming a Super-Hero come to life as they team up with some of Marvel’s mightiest heroes to live out their “Super Hero dreams.”
Avengers Campus is made up of several different areas, or locations. Each place is hosted by a different Avenger who will share their unique powers, technology, and also knowledge with recruits. Today, Disney released the first images of the new land.
Avengers Campus Attractions
The first stop as guests enter Avengers Campus is the Worldwide Engineering Brigade, or also known as WEB. This is where the brightest innovators come together, like Peter Parker, thanks to Tony Stark. He has assembled this group of talented minds to create new technologies that will help equip everyday people to become Super Heroes just like the Avengers. This is where the new WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure attraction will be found. This is the first Disney ride-through Spider-Man attraction.
Tom Holland will be reprising his role as Spider-Man for WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure. This attraction will have guests invited to put their web-slinging skills to the test and experience what it is like to be like Spider-Man and have his powers. This is promised to be an attraction that will be fun for the whole family.
The other main attraction in Avengers Campus is Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT!. This attraction opened in 2017 and puts guests right in the midst of an adventure with the Guardians of the Galaxy. In it, guests help Rocket break the Guardians of the Galaxy out of the Collector’s Fortress. There are six different storylines for this attraction as guests find themselves free-falling to some incredible music inspired by the movies.
Avengers Campus Dining
After some adventures with the Avengers, it is quite possible that guests will be hungry. There are several locations to eat at Avengers Campus. There will be food that offer excellent tastes that are coupled with some incredible stories. Pym Test Kitchen is the “food innovation science lab.” There, food and drink will definitely be telling a story as they get some unique sizing of foods, just like the “Pym Particles” did with Ant-Man and The Wasp. There will be some unique shareable bites, inventive entrees, and of course some sweet treats. There will also be Impossible plant-based large and micro meatballs with pasta, “Pym-ini,” which is a panini served by the slice or as a very long, multi-portion sandwich. This will definitely be adding an extra element of fun and adventure into the food experiences at Avengers Campus.
Next door to the Pym Test Kitchen, there is a huge beer can overhead. There, adult beverage tastings are available at the Pym Tasting Lab. Guests will be able to taste a craft beer (with options ranging from blood orange hefeweizen to amber lager) or maybe try a Pym Research Staff’s Pym Particle-infused cocktail experiment. There are several. Both locations will be offering mobile ordering with the Disneyland App.
Of course, it wouldn’t be a land based on The Avengers if there wasn’t also The Avengers favorite food joints, Shawarma Palace. This can be found as a food cart that is decked out with memorabilia for fans of The Avengers. Finally, Taneleer Tivan wasn’t just about collecting creatures, he also curated some incredible food. This can be found at the Terran Treats food cart that will be found near Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT!

They might also encounter some villains like Loki, or others who have not appeared in the park before.
While at Avengers Campus, guests might also see Spider-Man swinging high above Avengers Campus with some pretty incredible acrobatics that also has never been seen before in a Disney theme park.
There will also be the ancient sanctum where Doctor Strange will train new recruits in the mystic arts at Avengers Campus. He will bring the ancient sanctum to life with some pretty powerful spells.
