Disneyland Paris has been recognized for several honors at the European Star Awards. It was honored as Europe’s Best Family Park and Twighlight Zone Tower of Terror came in second for the category of Europe’s Best Dark Rides. The European Star Awards recognize “entrepreneurship, courage and innovation within the European theme park industry.” It is organized by Kirmes Park & Revue.

On top of the awards Disneyland Paris won, it also was on the shortlist four other times for this year’s Park World Excellence Awards. These identify the best “operators, suppliers, manufacturers and entertainment specialists from across Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).”

Disneyland Paris was honored in the following categories:

  • Best Dark Ride or Media Based Experience: The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror: A New Dimension of Thrills at Walt Disney Studios Park, supplied by Walt Disney Imagineering
  • Best Large Park: Disneyland Park
  • Best Live Entertainment: Frozen 2: An Enchanted Journey; The Lion King: Rhythms of the Pride Lands at Disneyland Park

Despite 2020 being a difficult year, Disneyland Paris has continued to push forward to create magical and memorable experiences for its guests. Both the European Star Awards and the Park World Excellence Awards shortlist validate those efforts. Disneyland Paris said in a statement that it has one single goal in mind in all that it does, “to exceed guest expectations.” It also shared its continued commitment to innovation.
