The past month, The Walt Disney Family Museum has been sharing magic for all Disney fans. The Happily Ever After Hours events give fans the chance to hear firsthand stories from people who have created the magic themselves. This week, the museum gave us the lineup of new guests that we can check out online!
Wednesday, June 3 – Leslie Iwerks
Leslie Iwerks is an Academy Award®- and Emmy®-nominated director and producer that has made major waves in the Disney community. The granddaughter of Ub Iwerks, Leslie has helped maintain the history by creating the documentaries The Hand Behind the Mouse: The Ub Iwerks Story (1999), The Pixar Story(2007), and Industrial Light & Magic: Creating the Impossible (2010). Many fans will recognize her work from the hit Disney+ series The Imagineering Story (2019) that gave fans a look into the creative process at Disney parks. Wednesday, June 10 – Bobby Moynihan
Actor Bobby Moynihan will go live with the Walt Disney Family Museum to share some of his favorite stories from projects and from being a Disney fan. You may recognize Moynihan’s talents from Disney•Pixar’s Monsters University (2013) and Inside Out (2015), Disney Television Animation’s DuckTales (2017–present), Lucasfilm Animation’s Star Wars Resistance (2018–20), and Disney Channel Original Movies Descendants 2 (2017) and Descendants 3 (2019). Friday, June 12 – Jonas Rivera
On June 12, Academy Award®-winning producer Jonas Rivera will share some of his favorite behind-the-scenes stories from his work! Rivera has had an incredible career with Disney·Pixar, including Up (2009), Inside Out (2015), and Toy Story 4 (2019). If you want to experience this event, you can sign up here.
