A new comic book will be arriving in June that will bring Spider-Man to Avengers Campus, and specifically the new Spider-Man attraction that will be in the new area at Disney California Adventure. Avengers Campus is expected to open at Disney California Adventure on July 18, 2020.
W.E.B. of Spider-Man will be a five-part comic book series. It will share the story of the Tony Stark funded Worldwide Engineering Brigade (W.E.B.) where Peter Parker and other young recruits both invent new gadgets and also pull some shenanigans. Iron Man will be on hand to keep an eye on them but, that doesn’t always mean that things will go smoothly.

Web Slingers: A Spider-Man Adventure will offer guests the chance to visit Peter Parker’s W.E.B. workshop for a tour. At this workshop, inventions are made that empower regular people to fight like superheroes. While there, it will be discovered that some of the gadgets, specifically Spider-Bots have gotten a bit out of hand. The guests will be called along to help take care of these rogue Spider-Bots. With 3D glasses, guests will get to web sling with a flip of the wrist and join Spider-Man as they try to save W.E.B. and the Avengers Campus.
Currently, the Disneyland Resort is closed to the Coronavirus outbreak. It is unknown how this will affect the opening of Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure. DAPS MAGIC will continue to follow this story and update it when future details become available.
