This weekend a new security setup debuted on the east end of the Esplanade at the Disneyland Resort. Under one long wide tent, guests now enter through this new security perimeter. With plenty of options for multiple lines, it appears to be able to accommodate more guests than the temporary structures that were in place before. The new setup is very similar to some of those found at the Walt Disney World Resort.
Guests entering the Disneyland Resort will still go through the same process that has been used in recent years. Guests enter the security perimeter by having bags inspected and then going through scanners. The Disneyland Resort continues to ensure the safety of both guests and cast members.
