The Director and the Jedi Premieres at SXSW Film Festival

This week a new full-length documentary premiered at the SXSW Film Festival. The Director and the Jedi was unveiled by Star Wars actor Mark Hamill, Star Wars: The Last Jedi director Rian Johnson and producer Ram Bergman. The Director and the Jedi director Anthony Wonke and producer Tylie Cox were also in attendance.

This documentary gives an in-depth glimpse into what it was like to work with Rian Johnson on Star Wars: The Last Jedi. A clip shared from the documentary has Carrie Fisher sharing about what it was like to work with Johnson. “He’s really with structuring things and story and then he’s good at working with actors,” Fisher shared. “So he has flaws in other areas. I just don’t know about them.” 

This new documentary will be offered as a bonus feature for Star Wars: The Last Jedi. It will be available for Digital Download on March 13th and 4K Ultra Blu-ray and Blu-ray disc on March 27, 2018.
