Disney Parks Blog has announced dates for the 2017 Magic Kingdom Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.
The Halloween Party will again include the Hocus Pocus Villain Spectacular in front of Cinderella Castle. This has been a fan favorite from its debut last year. In addition will be Mickey’s “Boo-to-You” Halloween Parade and “Happy HalloWishes”
Of course treat trails and the chance to dress up are going to be part of the festivities. It’s a good time to stock up on candy or get some unique photos in costumes.
Dates for these parties are:
- August 25, 29
- September 1, 7, 10, 12, 15, 17, 19, 22, 24, 26, 29
- October 1, 3, 5, 6, 9, 10, 12, 13, 15, 17, 19, 20, 22, 24, 26, 27, 29, 31
- November 1
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is a holiday tradition that is another after hours event at the Magic Kingdom. Set to return to it are Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, “Holiday Wishes,” “A Frozen Holiday Wish” and Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration.
Another reason to attend the parties are the great snacks and drinks that are offered throughout the night. Stations are set up where guests are able to chow down on cookies, cocoa, cider, and more! And, other special holiday treats are available for purchase too.
Dates for this event are:
- November 8, 9, 12, 14, 16, 17, 26, 28
- December 1, 3, 5, 7, 8, 10, 12, 14, 15, 17, 19, 21, 22
Tickets will be on sale in early May, and some dates do tend to sell out fast. It’s best to plan ahead early, as these are great events to attend. I’ve been to the Christmas Parties a couple of times, and love the amount of food and drink that are available. Holiday Wishes is one of my favorite fireworks shows. And, low attraction wait times are a big plus. It’s easy to get on the beloved attractions including ones like Space Mountain and Seven Dwarves Mine Train.
We’ll keep having information as we get it, but this is a great time to start planning that Fall or Winter vacation!
