Disney California Adventure hosted a food and wine festival this last year with unique offerings and great presentations. This year looks to bring the festival back and better than ever! The Festival Marketplace will be back and expanded to offer great delicacies throughout the park. And there will be great wine and other drink pairings to go with the tapas style meals. Ticketed events will be offered and will feature great culinary experts like Guy Fieri, Jamie Deen, Robert Irvine, Duff Goldman, Emily Ellyn, and Keegan Gerhard. Amidst the experiences will be not just food demonstrations but also beer seminars and premium dining events. These experiences will start to go on sale February 1. The Food and Wine Festival will be March 10 to April 16 this year, a little expanded in dates from this last year. All of this was on a Disney Parks Blog post, and more details will be coming soon.
Previously the park had hosted a smaller festival with demonstrations and a few food offerings. After a few years hiatus, the festival returned much bigger this last year. Several Marketplace booths were open to provide unique tastes to guests. Annual Passholders were also able to purchase a special lanyard that enabled discounted food items. Other AP exclusive merchandise was also offered.
There was quite a bit offered at the festival, and I got to have a lot, but still did not have everything. Whether or not there will be returning items is yet to be seen.
