If you enjoy character dining at the Disneyland Resort, especially Disneyland Hotel’s Goofy’s Kitchen, here are a few things you need to know. Starting January 19, 2016, Goofy’s Kitchen will temporarily close.
Disney Parks Blog shared with readers that from January 19 through February 9, Goofy’s Kitchen will be closed for remodeling as the location is set to receive “a fresh new look.” Meet and greet characters of this location will temporarily move to PCH Grill at the Paradise Pier Hotel during dinner hours.
Both breakfast and dinner character dining will be available at PCH Grill. If you have never been to PCH Grill, it’s a bit smaller than Goofy’s Kitchen but still offers excellent food.
Food options include…
The restaurant’s beachy, laid-back atmosphere is a fun spot for the new Beach Side Bonfire Dinner Buffet with Mickey & Friends featuring classic California dishes — smoked tri-tip, baby back ribs, fish tacos, sautéed shrimp, steamed clams, mac-n-cheese, fried chicken and mini hamburgers and hot dogs right off the grill. Cap off your meal with a sweet ending and “perpetual summer” beverages, including watermelon lemonade and our signature peach-and-blood-orange tea.
The PCH Grill’s popular Surf’s Up Breakfast with Mickey & Friends continues – an all-you-care-to-enjoy spread that includes an omelet station, flatbreads, Mickey waffles, banana-caramel French toast, parfaits, smoothies, beef chilaquiles, smoked salmon and more. And it’s perfect for little ones with Mickey waffles, a build-your-own-omelet station, hot and cold cereals, bacon, sausage and seasonal fresh fruit.
Please note that the character move is only temporary. If you would like to make a dining reservation, please call 714-781-DINE.
