VIDEO: Bringing Maximus To Life For ‘Tangled: The Musical’

Heading to the Disney Magic on the Disney Cruise Line this November, comes a brand new musical. Starring none other than Rapunzel, Flynn Rider and Maximus, guests on board can enjoy “Tangled: The Musical.”

The endearing characters and captivating music of the animated film Tangled come to life as an original stage show spectacular at sea—the first time the beloved Disney tale has been adapted for the stage.

As to what it takes to put on an hour show, there are many things to do. With crew and performers hard at work, this show is sure to be a thrill.

One character in particular that audiences will find a liking to is the life-size Maximus. Check out the clip below as puppet designer, Michael Curry, explains what it takes to create such an iconic character.

Enjoy!
