Force Friday Merchandise Event to Take Part at Disney Parks

This Friday is a big day for those of you that adore Star Wars merchandise, myself included. With the recent announcement, this Thursday, brand new Star War: The Force Awakens merchandise will be reveled worldwide. For more info on the live stream set for September 3, please click here.

From what’s announced on Thursday, the next day has been claimed as Force Friday, the day in which the recently announced items will be available at select retail stores as well as in select Disney Stores. In addition, the Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort are set to take part in the action.

Disney Parks Blog made note that those wishing to take part in Force Friday at the resorts can do so by purchasing a ticket for $50. These tickets, which are being sold in limited quantities, will allow guests to purchase exclusive Star Wars: The Force Awakens items in select locations.

New Star Wars™ themed merchandise and more will land in our galaxy at Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resorts on September 4, 2015 at 12:01 AM (Midnight). Set your hyperspace coordinates and come to this merchandise ticketed event to gather supplies and other acquisitions in preparation of the highly anticipated film release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens in December.

Tickets to the Force Friday merchandise event include:

  • The opportunity to be among the first to purchase new Star Wars and Star Wars: The Force Awakensthemed merchandise, including Disney Theme Park Merchandise exclusives and licensed products. Purchase limits will apply.
