Director Chris Buck of ‘Frozen’ Begins on Film’s Sequel

With the long-lasting success of Disney’s Frozen, whether it’s merchandise, newly animated shorts or anything Disney Parks related, Frozen is still a hit. As noted a while back, there will be a sequel to the film. No current date has been released yet, but the film does have a green light.

Just to reassure the public about the film’s sequel, E! Online shared some information on the current status of the project.

With Frozen placing over $1.3 billion in the bank, would it be possible for the sequel to rank in that much or even more?

Director Chris Buck said in a statement in regards to the sequel, “we’re just starting. Jen and I are just getting back into the story room together and throwing ideas around. We have an overall idea, a concept, which I think is a very strong one. I’m very excited about doing it.”

He also went on to say, “we have two very strong female leads in Frozen. We will keep that going in the next one. We will tackle other issues that, I think, are out there today that boys and girls, men and women, are dealing with.”

The team and crew also noted that they are not planning on rushing the project. A lot of time and effort will be placed in the upcoming film.

What are your speculations in regards to the plot line for the upcoming sequel?
