Returns to Mediterranean for Fourth Season
MYKONOS, Greece (June 23, 2013) – The Disney Magic arrives today in Mykonos, Greece, where Captain Robert Olmer and shipboard officers are hosting local port officials and community leaders onboard for a traditional maritime plaque exchange ceremony. This event symbolizes the partnership between the ship and the destination in honor of her first call.
The Disney Magic is spending the summer in the Mediterranean for the fourth year, and continues to offer guests visits to new ports, as well as familiar favorites. The ship will homeport in Barcelona, Spain, for the season and offers four-, seven- and 12-night itineraries.
“The Mediterranean continues to be an extremely popular destination for our guests,” said Karl Holz, president of Disney Cruise Line. “The incredible history, culture and beauty of these ports-of-call, combined with the legendary guest service, entertainment and storytelling Disney is famous for, make these itineraries magical. Multi-generational families and guests of every age will experience vacations that they will remember forever.”
