Phineas and Ferb: The Perry Files – DVD Review by Mr. DAPs

DAPs Magic Disney News – by Mr. DAPs

Perry is a pet platypus on the hit Disney Channel show (and movie), Phineas and Ferb. For most, this would be a fabulous distinction. After all, who wouldn’t want a teal platypus in their backyard? However, the coolness isn’t ending there but only beginning. When his owners aren’t looking, Perry dons a fedora and becomes Agent P! This secret agent platypus is out to save the world from the evil plans of Dr. Doofenschmirtz and his evil cronies. Phineas and Ferb: The Perry Files focus on Perry/Agent P’s quest to save Danville from evil!

Picture and Sound:

Phineas and Ferb: The Perry Files looks and feel just like the television show. It isn’t your blockbuster presentation but it feels right so I have no complaints. The sound goes right along with the video. It is your typical cartoon and looks and sounds just like what I see on the Disney Channel.

Bonus Features:

There were a couple of bonus features included on this DVD combo pack. The first is an O.W.C.A. (Organization Without a Cool Acronym) recruiting video called Nerves of Teal. The second is a look at the traveling bus/exhibit that has been going around North America called by Platybus. It’s a Phineas and Ferb exhibit. This bonus feature was called Platybus Tour.

Overview:

Phineas and Ferb: The Perry Files is fun to watch but I’m not entirely sure how much I would spend on this DVD Combo Pack. This is easily one of the best shows on the Disney Channel and there really aren’t a ton of options out there for getting episodes on DVD so if you are a huge fan (or if you have kids who are huge fans), definitely grab this. If you are just the casual watcher… keep your eye on Amazon!
