DAPs Magic Disney News – by Mr. DAPs
Rumors that have been circulating around the Disneyland Resort (and other Disney Them Parks) for years about Starbucks coming to the parks were finally given some validation. This morning on the Disney Parks Blog, it was announced that Starbucks would be coming to six locations within Disney Them Parks in the United States.
The first location will be on Buena Vista Street when it opens in June in Disney California Adventure. For some coffee loving guests, this may be as exciting as the opening of Cars Land itself. Thomas Smith, the Social Media Director for Disney Parks, wrote that “Starbucks will be located in the Fiddler, Fifer and Practical Café on Buena Vista Street, a place that transports guests to 1920s Los Angeles, when Walt Disney arrived in California and a cup of coffee was the perfect way to jumpstart a busy day. The store’s location plays off the Spanish/Mexican architecture of the period, and baristas will wear 1920s-inspired attire.”
Guests who visit Starbucks in Disney Theme Parks will be able to enjoy their favorite Starbucks drink, many of their favorite breakfast sandwiches and pastries, along with some Disney favorites that will be sold in the stores as well.
Starbucks are also planned for the future at Disneyland here on the west coast and also Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom at Walt Disney World.
It is currently unknown if these new Starbucks locations will affect the coffee that is currently brewed and served throughout other locations at Disney Theme Parks. We have reached out to Disney and are awaiting comment.
