Disneyland Prices Increase Ahead of 60th Anniversary Celebration
The Disneyland Resort is raising prices ahead of its 60th Anniversary Diamond Celebration. The Orange County Register broke the news on twitter this morning.
According to the Orange County Register, beginning this Sunday, ticket prices are said to increase. In addition, the Walt Disney World Resort is also said to increase ticket prices as well. Let’s take a look at the price changes for the Disneyland Resort.
For one-day adult ticket prices for either Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park, the price will increase from $96 to $99. One-day park hopper add-ons will increase by two dollars to $56. As for children, between ages 3-9, one-day tickets will increase from $90 to $93.
Annual Passports will also see an increase of prices. It has been noted that there will no longer be an option to add on parking to an Annual Passes. Parking will only be available on the Premium Annual Pass. Premium Annual Passes will increase from $699 to $779. That being a total of an 11 percent increase. Deluxe Annual Passes will increase to $549 and SoCal Select will increase to $299. As for Premiere Annual Pass, which includes access to parks at the Walt Disney World Resort and the Disneyland Resort, the new price comes to $1099.
In a statement by the Disneyland Resort, Betsy Sanchez said, “A day at a Disney Park is unlike any other in the world, and there is strong demand for our attractions and entertainment. We continually add new experiences, and many of our guests select multi-day tickets or annual passes, which provide a great value and additional savings.”
