with me for the last I watched it

probably three or four weeks ago, but

people are like, "Oh, this park is all

Disney fan event and it was like

like I think that that's a very special

thing and it's it's fun to spot little

because it's going to be for a very

short amount of time in the grand scheme

because the walls for the Avengers

campus in Dar's land was over a year and

bring this up though is because there

has been a lot of news surrounding walls

last six months of the Disneyland

Resort, even more so than normal, not

just the normal refurbishments, but

we're seeing a pivot into what I'm

calling the Disneyland Forward era. And

uh this is an exciting time um because

the last time we had growth like this uh

led from well actually what it what it

ended up doing was a parking lot was

turned into a theme park and this time a

bunch of old buildings are being turned

into a parking lot and uh that's

actually really exciting because what

it's going to do is make it that much

easier and more enjoyable to get into

Disneyland. And uh and and I'm excited

about that. And so last week we had the

official groundbreaking for this new

parking lot which will be over the east

side of the park across Harbor

Boulevard.

And uh so Jill Estino, the president of

the Disneyland Resort and the mayor of

Anaheim and a few other people were on

hand for this this official

groundbreaking. And um my question for

this wasn't brought up at D23. One, do

few more weeks." And then at the end of

the month, they're going to go somewhere

else. And I saw everybody's ears perk up

like a dog and just go

>> all five of us that were actually there.

>> And then immediately everybody turns to

each other in the circle and goes,

Disney fans, we live in a world where we

are kind of the only people that know

what we're talking about. Like we'll

and a average Disney fan or guest is

going to go, "Okay, that sounds crazy,

but sure." And it's so fun to be with

our people that all go, "Wait."

level of depth of knowledge that we have

where you can throw something abstract

like that out as an aside. Yeah.

surprised all of us were good and did

over this bridge that goes over Harbor

some point whenever This is done. And

it's such a weird thing to watch these

things disappear because I can remember

the original ticket booths that were in

front of Main Gate and you went out into

the parking lot. There was that path

that went out in the middle and all of

that stuff. And I remember those

disappearing for the most part. And you

know, there's one out at the uh the

train museum in the middle of nowhere

and they pop up here and there. And then

they make the new ticket booths that

were really big. And I remember at the

time thinking like, "Oh, these are

really um in your face." like they just

felt

charming as what we had before. And now

we're in this era where you really don't

even need ticket booths because we do

everything on our phones. And um

what that looks like when it's gone.

Uh even I am I'm only turning 30 like in

pass was at a ticket booth because it

I got a premiere pass was at those

said, they absolutely served a purpose

for what they needed to, and that is a

world that simply doesn't really exist

or uh exists in such a small capacity

that potentially things could be moved

to guest relation windows or what have

It looks fantastic. We've walked through

think of this new walkway and and

restroom? Cars themed restroom.

>> So, one, I love that it's cars themed,

but two um perhaps the biggest thing,

and I've been saying this since uh we

lost bugs, I don't love when there is a

dead end in DCA. Yes. Um, that is one of

the toughest things, especially in

California Adventure, because it doesn't

happen as much in Disneyland. Um, when

something truly deadends, um, especially

Cars Land Avengers Campus area, that is

such a choke point. Um, the bright like

the the added positive to this is that I

think the theming is really fun. I think

it's really cool. Um, I really like how

there are nods to both Avengers and

Cars, but it's very true to that Cars

theme. Um, I have not used the bathroom.

Um, but I still will say,

although it is currently behind walls,

the Route 66 bathroom in DCA is still

the best one.

almost makes it feel more cityish,

about, all of the original characters,

um the ways that they were like, uh,

they went off-roading in a Jeep and then

they went, "This was really fun, but how

could my mom experience this or how

could uh my nephew experience this or

whatever? And so I think it's that

really fun, adventurous spirit, but

making it um family oriented. And I also

think it's just going to be really
