of a cocktail class. So, I call these
0:07
cocktail classes, education classes,
0:09
master classes. There's a lot of
0:10
different terms. Sometimes it depends on
0:12
what you're making, why you're making
0:14
it. We love to partner them with
0:17
industry experts, you know, in
0:20
distillers or wine makers and all these
0:22
kinds of things. So, one of the
0:24
beautiful things the Disney team is
0:25
going to be doing is programming out
0:27
events like this for the membership
0:29
group to be able to do these. So, this
0:31
is a perfect example of one of those
0:32
experiential moments that you've seen, I
0:34
think, a few of today. Um, this is just
0:37
food and beverage version of it, which
0:39
is a little fun. Uh, we also wanted to
0:42
show off some of the seasonality
0:44
elements that happen inside of this. So,
0:46
as we the cocktail program changes, like
0:48
I spoke to a lot of you about, you'll
0:50
start to see hints and highlights. So, a
0:53
you'll see two cocktails today. One
0:55
you'll make is the alcoholic cocktail.
0:57
It is a play off of a Negroni. So, who
1:00
knows what a Negroni is? Perfect. You
1:03
know why it's called a Negroni? Negroni
1:06
is a drink that was developed around
1:09
1919 1920 uh by Count Negroni up in
1:13
Florence. He used to love a drink called
1:16
the Americano. The Americano was a
1:20
beautiful drink made with
1:22
[Music]
1:24
moose
1:25
and kari and soda water. Uh he wanted it
1:29
stronger so he added gin.
1:31
Uh so this is one of the reasons that
1:34
the negrroni was developed and it was
1:35
named after him. The negroni you'll be
1:37
making today is a little bit of a play.
1:39
It's a messcal negroni. Uh we wanted to
1:41
stay true to its Italian roots. So
1:43
you'll see the middle bottle you have
1:45
here is called Maro Montenegro. Maro
1:48
Montenegro was named after Anna, which
1:51
was the princess of Montenegro. Uh, and
1:54
she became the queen of Italy. And so
1:57
Maro Montenegro was developed based off
1:59
of her. Uh, and then for flavor
2:02
purposes, you'll see next to it as well,
2:04
a nice little bottle of chocolate Aztec
2:06
frapponents
2:09
of it.
2:09
So Connor is going to step in here for a
2:12
second and help us start this process.
2:16
our first step.
2:18
That's nice of these uh you all have
2:20
your pictures in front of you. You all
2:22
have your measurement glasses.
2:24
Let's get moving here.
2:27
He's going to get some ice for you.
2:30
Cow is the main ingredient in this
2:33
instead of gin. Uh you can use a lot of
2:36
different elements of Mexican spirits.
2:38
It is made a lot with satul which is a
2:41
newer spirit comes out of Mexico. Methal
2:44
is of course made of agave just like
2:46
tequila is and many other of most of the
2:48
Mexican spirits. It's just a version
2:50
where it's made and how it's
2:58
s

[Music]
3:10
while we're doing this.
3:11
All right, guys. Has anybody used the
3:13
before?
3:15
This is a
3:17
Has anybody used it before?
3:18
Yes.
3:18
Yes. All right. So, at the top, it
3:21
should be on 1 oz. Smaller side is 1 oz.
3:24
We're going to grab the jiggers on the 1
3:26
oz side.
3:30
And then you're going to grab your
3:32
bottle of mascal first. Mascal will be
3:34
the green one.
3:36
So, you're going to fill it right all
3:38
the way to the top.
3:39
Okay.
3:40
Right
3:44
up to the top.
3:48
We're going to dump it straight into
3:49
your
3:53
easy way to carry the jiggers like so.
3:55
It's easier for you.
4:00
That's
4:03
everybody.
4:13
Has everybody got the
4:14
mask in?
4:25
It's all right.
4:29
Have a little bit more. Has
4:32
everybody got test?
4:33
Yes.
4:34
All right. Next one we're going to graph
4:35
is the Montenegro.
4:37
Montenegro.
4:41
We're going to do also do 1 oz.
4:49
I believe it around 1885.
4:54
It's made with 40 different types of
4:58
botanicals. It's a secret ingredient.
5:04
Thank you.
5:15
How's that going?
5:18
Good.
5:28
Everyone got their bought the next one?
5:30
Good to go.
5:31
Yeah. All right. Next one up we're going
5:33
to grab is the
5:42
on the short side.
5:46
[Music]
5:47
Was it two of this?
5:50
How much of that one?
5:54
How much for?
5:54
How much?
5:56
75. The last line on your chair.
5:58
Thank you. See the line of the bullets.
6:08
Perfect.
6:14
Everyone got it in?
6:16
Sorry.
6:18
Next thing we're going to do is grab the
6:19
chocolate bitters.
6:24
Going to do two dashes.
6:27
One.
6:28
Perfect.
6:36
There you go.
6:37
Do you need to
6:39
Oh, I already did.
6:40
We're going to grab your stirring spoon.
6:43
We're going to do 30 reolutions. Count
6:46
to 30.
6:51
How much did you do? 30 together.
7:00
Some of the other methods here
7:03
[Music]
7:05
water or ice different
7:14
strainers.
7:17
We have We're missing a screen.
7:18
Missing a strainer.
7:21
There you go. Sorry.
7:22
That's okay. Thank you.
7:23
Going to hold it. We're going to pour on
7:25
top of
7:30
You put it on like this.
7:32
The spring on. There you go.
7:37
Pour it on top of the skull, guys. Skull
7:39
is a horatada skull.
7:43
And we've got a fun little touch for you
7:45
here.
7:53
Go.
7:57
Oh, that's cool.
7:59
And then we've got one final touch for
8:01
you. This is called Liddella del Morto.
8:05
So, this is an Italian drink you would
8:08
make for something like Diade Muertos.
8:10
You find it. It's also very important
8:13
because this fits inside of one of the
8:15
programs we're putting together that a
8:17
lot of plot twist is about archetypes,
8:19
which is the story the Imagineers
8:21
created. This would fit underneath the
8:23
villain archetype, which is something
8:24
that was very important. So, as you'll
8:26
see, these cocktails come. It's part of
8:28
the theme and story we created. So,
8:30
you're going to after you're done
8:31
pouring, you're going to take that
8:32
bitters. You're going to put a dash in
8:34
each of the eyeballs and one in the
8:37
mouth.
8:40
You'll see it fill in. You'll see the
8:43
dark hole. And a nice little uh addition
8:46
to this cocktail that you might see out
8:48
at Architect's Fork is the secondary
8:50
step is if you'd like it smoked. So you
8:53
would smoke the drink inside using a
8:56
certain we had hickory up there. We had
8:58
apple wood and then you'll see a nice
9:00
smoke come off of that drink giving it
9:02
that nice eerie
9:06
kind of vibe for it. So this is the
9:09
delto. This is a drink that is available
9:12
at the Texas Fork. It will be for the
9:14
season. Um, and this is a nice little
9:16
fun little any questions so far.
9:20
[Music]
9:23
Nothing quite yet. I've got one more fun
9:25
little surprise for you that they're
9:27
prepping. We've only got one of these.
9:29
So, it'll be an I'll have him set it up
9:31
in a place we could do one on side for
9:33
you guys. Anybody that's filming, this
9:36
would be an NABV. Uh this is a
9:39
non-alcoholic cocktail that we'll be
9:41
making. This fits in type in the
9:43
sorcerer archetype uh which will be one
9:45
of the main ones we're focusing on and
9:47
it's called the apprentices elixir.
9:50
Um
9:54
this is dela.
9:56
Yes, we can get the spelling for
10:00
mecalcroni.
10:02
You can make this with like I said
10:05
different types of mezcow. You can do it
10:07
with a tequila if you want. There's a
10:09
couple of different ways to Mexican
10:11
negroni, mezcow negroni. There's a lot
10:13
of different variations. Now,
10:19
uh what? Let's see. We've got some
10:21
phones, cameras here. We're going to do
10:22
we'll do one on this side and then we
10:25
can do another one on the other side.
10:28
So, the fun one about this is this one
10:30
fits inside the I said it was the
10:33
elixir. It's a non-alcoholic beverage.
10:35
We wanted this one to be fun. Um, have
10:39
So, you've got a nice little uh pea
10:43
flower is where you get this purple
10:45
from. You'll see on this side again.
10:46
Like I said, we'll do one over here.
10:54
Do another one on this side.
10:57
You need a We need a carrier.
11:02
[Music]
11:12
There's the
11:16
add to her
11:26
tonic.
11:27
Tonic. It's going to give this nice
11:30
little ocean. to it.
11:38
Nice brunch.
11:56
[Laughter]
12:01
This makes
12:04
this ready. Are we ready? Ready.
12:38
Pour this.
12:42
[Music]
12:53
would be made side dining.
12:58
So, a couple things you uh you guys have
13:00
a little it'll be a little different
13:01
down here. We wouldn't have any glass.
13:03
So, that'll be very different
13:05
experience. These will mostly be done at
13:06
architects for primarily at the bar will
13:10
be done just I mean we could do it table
13:12
side. I think it'll just depend on the
13:14
service. This is Chad by the way. Chad
13:16
is the food of members manager in front
13:18
of the house here. So he'll be the one
13:20
that does this uh for every Yeah, that's
13:22
the goal that the show is part of it. So
13:25
we like to make this experiential as
13:27
much as possible.
13:30
Next
13:37
We can make one more for you guys on
13:39
this side.
13:46
You guys so strong.
13:51
Soon is a very boozy cocktail. Remember
13:54
the reason it was created was the Baron
13:57
said, "I don't want soda water. I would
13:59
like a boozy cocktail." And so he added
14:01
gin instead of it. So yes.
14:08
It's based as a great way to put it.
14:16
Which
14:18
drink is yours?
14:20
Yeah. One of the fun flavored
14:22
components.
14:25
Cheers. Cheers.
14:27
Enjoy.
14:28
You guys all ready? Yep.
14:30
Start off with the butterfly pee.
14:32
Jin.
14:34
One of the
14:36
add some of the magic
14:41
of a stir
14:46
and the elderflower tonic on top
14:49
just sparked so many different
15:04
Well, it actually was called
15:17
in
15:20
the video.
15:28
[Music]
15:29
Yes, many
15:31
very very
15:38
wanted to make sure things
15:43
will arrive over time.
15:50
And then
15:56
for some people
16:00
I want to get them involved.
16:05
Top it off with a little lightning bolt.
16:18
Right.
16:19
[Music]
16:24
like this something.
