The Disneyland Resort is celebrating Hispanic and Latin American Heritage Month. Throughout the resort, there are cuisines to be enjoyed and characters to be met, a display in the Downtown Disney District Resort, and today, Donald Duck is making a special appearance at Disneyland. Donald Duck, wearing a sombrero, is meeting with guests along the Small World mall above the old motor boat lagoon.
Friend of Daps Magic Spencer stopped by Fantasyland on Tuesday and discovered Donald Duck meeting with guests on a lovely day at The Happiest Place on Earth! He grabbed the following photos when he discovered Donald Duck.












Donald Duck in his sombrero does not appear on the Disneyland app or Disneyland website. It is unknown if he will continue to be featured throughout Hispanic and Latin American Heritage Month in this location. Here is what is known to be available at the Disneyland Resort during Hispanic and Latin American Heritage Month:
Disneyland
- Meet characters from Disney’s Encanto at Rancho Del Zocalo Park in Frontierland.
- Enjoy Mexican-inspired cuisine at Rancho del Zocalo Restaurante with its recently updated menu.

Disney California Adventure
- Meet Disney characters.
- Meet Miguel from Pixar’s Coco near the “Recuérdame” (“Remember Me”) mural.
- Enjoy Mexican-inspired cuisine at Cocina Cucamonga Mexican Grill.
- Paradise Garden Grill is serving Mexican-inspired specialties as part of Plaza de la Familia.
- Watch The Storytellers of Plaza de la Familia Celebrate The Musical World of Coco!
- Disney PhotoPass Magic Shots can be taken with a selected Disney Character or a fun surprise appearing in the photo.

Downtown Disney District
- Enjoy the flavours of Mexico at the 3 restaurants from Chef Carlos Gaytán, the first Mexican chef to earn a Michelin Star.
- The Downtown Disney LIVE Stage! will be presenting nightly bands and weekend variety acts.
