New Poster

New poster art was also released with the trailer. It has Maul being lit by a red lightsaber and surrounded by Jedi Padawan Devon Izara, Jedi Master Eeko-Dio Daki, and the Mandalorian warrior Rook Kast, Zabrak brothers Icarus and Scorn, and also the scheming scoundrel Looti Vario. Over by the warrior’s hilt, there is police detective Captain Brander Lawson, his droid partner Two-Boots, and Lawson’s son Rylee. On top of that, a Star Destroyer looms overhead as the Empire casts its shadow over the world of Janix in the early years of Emperor Palpatine’s reign.

Star Wars: Maul – Shadow Lord will premiere with two episodes on April 6, 2026, on Disney+. This will be followed by a release of two episodes each week, leading up to the finale on Star Wars Day, May the 4th. This series presents fans with a pulpy adventure showcasing Maul’s efforts to rebuild his criminal syndicate on a planet that the Empire hasn’t touched.
