Insider’s Look at Disney Cruise Line’s BIGGEST Ship in the Fleet | We Call It Imagineering! – Official Description

Imagineers are used to starting with a blank canvas. But sometimes, magic is built upon foundation—like the storied legacy of Disney Cruise LineIn the latest episode of We Call It Imagineering, set sail on the Disney Adventure as Walt Disney Imagineering and Disney Live Entertainment put the final touches on entertainment offerings, immersive spaces, and so much more!

The Disney Adventure is the newest chapter in a storied legacy of Disney Cruise Line, which began in the 1990’s when Disney Legend and former Imagineer Wing Chao was tasked with designing cruise ships that were classic, modern, and—most importantly—distinctly Disney.

For the first time, Imagineers worked to fit iconic Disney stories into an existing ship and bring that ship to a new market, Singapore. The project team spent months researching the local market to ensure the stories resonated with guests in the region. Imagineers saw this as the perfect opportunity to build our first castle at sea, offering theme park-level storytelling and Disney magic to new audiences.

Every Disney Cruise Line ship is a showcase of technical ingenuity, featuring groundbreaking entertainment, immersive environments, and pioneering technology. From Marvel’s first rollercoaster at sea to multimedia dining and world-class stage shows, the Disney Adventure is the most innovative ship ever to join the Disney Cruise Line fleet.

And the journey doesn’t stop here—Disney Cruise Line will grow to thirteen ships by 2031, with five new ships in all stages of development. See how Imagineers are redefining what’s possible on the water in the latest episode of We Call It Imagineering: Set Sail!
