The Mandalorian & Grogu arrives in theaters on May 22, 2026. When it does, fans will get to see the next adventure with Djin Djarin and Grogu. Along the way, there will be some familiar faces and also some new ones. One of the highlights of a new Star Wars movie, however, isn’t just the film. It is all of the merchandise that comes along with it. Since 1977, when Star Wars originally debuted and changed the world, the toys that accompany the films have played a big part in the fan experience. The story that was seen on screen could continue with the toys and the imagination of fans at home.
One thing about Star Wars toys is that from day one, they have always been awesome. Through the years, they have continued to just get better and better. For The Mandalorian & Grogu, this trend continues. This week, many of the toys that will accompany this film’s release were revealed at an event in New York City.
“One of the best parts of making Star Wars stories for the screen is seeing how they inspire the next generation of toys and collectibles,” said The Mandalorian & Grogu director Jon Favreau at the event. “For many fans my age, the toys were how we lived in the Star Wars galaxy between film releases. Now, fans have a wonderful variety of fun products to keep them connected to the story and their favorite characters. I’m very much looking forward to continuing that tradition with ‘The Mandalorian and Grogu.’”
