A new fireworks show is coming when the Disney Adventure goes on its maiden voyage and inaugural season. The Disney Adventure will be presenting the exclusive The Lion King: Celebration in the Sky. This will be a nighttime spectacular that is a tribute to the beloved Walt Disney Animation Studios’ The Lion King and its characters. It will light up the night sky with plenty of Disney magic. Even more special? The Disney Cruise Line is the only cruise line to feature fireworks at sea!

The Lion King: Celebration in the Sky will celebrate the story and its characters through stunning pyrotechnics coupled with dramatic lighting effects. The iconic songs from the film will also be honored with new arrangements. The Disney Cruise Line has shared that there will be original arrangements for Circle of Life, Hakuna Matata, He Lives in You, and even Can You Feel the Love Tonight? All of these songs are performed by the Royal Scottish National Orchestra with the unique voices of the Ndlovu Youth Choir from South Africa. 

On top of the fireworks and musical numbers, there will be an incredible narrator. Internationally acclaimed star and entertainment icon Shah Rukh Khan will provide his voice to narrate the show and connect guests to the story in a new way. Shah Rukh Khan voiced Mufasa in the Hindi-language version of Disney’s The Lion King (2019) and Mufasa (2024).

The Lion King: Celebration in the Sky is a brand new experience and will be available on select nights during the three- and four-night voyages aboard the Disney Adventure.
