Disneyland Without Christmas Tree

Christmas Tree Comes Down at Disneyland

For the last week, Disney fans have eagerly watched as the Christmas tree at Disneyland has continued to stand at Christmas Tree Point in Town Square at the end of Main Street, USA. As other decorations have disappeared and the classic background music returned, the massive Christmas tree on Main Street continued to stand.

On Monday morning, the Christmas tree was found to have been removed. In its place, a circle of grass could be found. Presumably, the Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration photo op will be returning to this location. This celebration of seven decades of The Happiest Place on Earth continues for its second year and will end on August 9, 2026.

Daps Magic team member Steven stopped by Disneyland on Monday morning, January 12th, and noticed that the Christmas tree had been removed. Below are his photos. Right now marks a rare time during the year at Disneyland when Main Street, USA, simply stands on its own. There are no decorations or bunting anywhere currently. For years, this was fairly common during the off-season. This is no longer the case; generally, some sort of themed decoration can be found on buildings and light posts on Main Street, USA. It is a fun time to enjoy on Main Street, USA.

The Christmas tree at Buena Vista Street was previously removed with the end of Holidays at the Disneyland Resort. Today also saw Haunted Mansion Holiday close to make way for the classic version of the attraction. The Celebrate Happy Cavalcade and Wondrous Journeys have both returned, with Paint the Night returning at the end of the month.
